The half-barrel is an ideal option for general water garden use, providing ample space for plants such as water lilies and lotus that require up to 2 feet of water immersion. If you need a larger container, the three-quarter barrel offers the perfect solution.

Setting up a water garden is easy with our water-tight barrel tubs or by using a water garden liner with our standard barrel tubs. Opting for the water-tight barrel planter eliminates the need for plastic liners, maintaining the natural aesthetic of your water garden.

Each water-tight barrel is handcrafted and distributed exclusively by MGP in Algona, Washington. Crafted from oak, the half-barrel's split lips are sanded to a smooth, finished look and feel.

To keep the barrel in a water-tight condition, it's recommended to hydrate the container once a month. The sturdy bottom is inserted into a dado for strong support and features a chamfered inward design to minimize contact with the ground.
